The Veterans Day assembly yesterday was very, very nice. I am still working on the photos I took. Will post some tonight. Since Chris is new to the middle school, I didn't know too many teachers there, so they didn't know about my picture taking obsession. Well after I photographed the circus and shared them with the parents and some teachers, I am being asked to photograph other school events as well. The teacher who runs the yearbook is espeially happy with the photos, ha! I enjoy photographing the events so it works out well. And there are always a few parents to order some prints, a CD or a collage as well.
Chris' team won their soccer game on Sunday (after winning a double header on Saturday), happy boys. I took some pictures there as well.. will post them soon too.
No school today, I think the Livesey's are coming over. Dilynn also has a book club meeting later today. I think our neighbor across the street is coming over.. and maybe another of Steph's friends since Dilynn has to leave early.
Did I mention Chris and Derek are playing on the same CYO basketball team??? They just started practice last week.. Chris is happy to have Derek on his team!
For those who heard the crazy hostage story on the news yesterday... not our school district thank goodness! But not at all very far away either, yikes!
