Saturday Happenings..

When I got up this morning, Jeff told the kids to say "Morning blogger".  Then Steph asks "mom, what's a blogger?".  So I showed them this blog.  For some reason that caused them to run upstairs to get their cameras and look for victims to shoot. I was the lucky winner.. mom in her PJs with her hair standing up.  No, they will not be posted here, no chance. Tonight when they are asleep, the pictures will mysteriously disappear from their cameras.  "I don't know guys, sometimes that happens, pictures on the camera just get lost."

Chris had a basketball game with his CYO travel team.  It's really a 5th grade team, but they didn't have enough players so they asked Chris and a few other 4th graders to play.  Here's a cool picture of Chris rebounding (I can't take credit, a friends' daughter took pics while I kept stats for the game):

Steph played outside for hours today with Josh, Alex, Jacob and Max.  Yes, 4 boy neighbors.

OK, here goes..

I've ventured into the world of blogging. I'm a computer geek who likes to take lots of pictures so I figured I'd give this a try as a way to share some funny stories and pictures.  Well today Chris and Steph are very happy with me for a change. I had some extra energy today and no place in particular to go, so I cleaned out Steph's "toy closet", threw out one garbage bag of stuff and put two bags of stuff in the basement that will go to the next tag sale. (Don't worry Denis and Margaret, no bags were created with your name on it!). I then put a table into the toy closet and some paper, pens, etc.. and called it Steph's Art Studio.  Well Steph couldn't be happier. Chris was even easier. Richie, remember that basketball hoop you bought for him YEARS ago, I pulled that out of the closet and hung it on his bathroom door and I was his hero.

When I later told Steph that I invited a friend of hers to go to basketball with her on Sunday, she said "mom, why are you doing so many things that make me so happy today??"   

Not too much else going on.. tomorrow I'll try to post again, Chrisie and I have a funny story about "Mighty Putty".. well we thought it was funny.
